Bargaining Update 7-17-2025

Building Strength, Gaining Momentum
Brothers and Sisters,
We’re still in the early phases of negotiations, focusing on language issues, and your Bargaining Committee, alongside representatives from the International Union, are holding the line. We were at the turnstiles handing out “NO CONCESSIONS”, “FAIR WAGES NOW”, “RETIREMENT SECURITY” stickers and visited every facility to share updates and, most importantly, listen to and understand your demands.
This week, the committee engaged management in discussions on the discipline process, Temporary layoffs, Short-run assignments, and Inverted layoffs
Every proposal we make is backed by your strength on the shop floor. Management is watching, and they’ve already taken notice of how many of you are wearing RED on Wednesdays. That solidarity doesn’t go unnoticed—it sends a clear message:
We’re united, and we’re ready.
- Wear your stickers proudly on the shop floor*
- Keep wearing red every Wednesday*
- Stay engaged, scan the QR code to stay informed with real-time updates*
- Support each other and show management we’re one voice and united
Soon, we’ll be entering the economic phase of negotiations—wages, retirement, healthcare, and more. That’s when the stakes get even higher. That’s when our unity matters most!
We need every member to show that you’re standing with the Bargaining Committee. Every member is a vital part of our movement. Together, we drive the fight forward for a contract that delivers dignity, fairness, and respect.
Rest assured: we hear you, and we’re laser-focused on these issues. This bargaining cycle must be different—and we are committed to making that a reality.
Let’s keep building momentum.
United we bargain. Divided we beg.
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee
